So Choir Leeds is THE super-fun, social singing choir in a bar! No ability needed, no auditions, no awkwardness, no worries. Even if you feel you can’t sing or don’t like the sound of your own voice (who does?!) you’re TOTALLY welcome along. Rock up, grab a drink and you’re in!
We’re all about awesome people who love getting together for laughs, live music and to sing great songs. Add your voice to the mix and get ready to be blown away by the sound of sweet harmonies sending shivers down your spine!
Visiting us is simple, we’re just an eight‑minute walk from Leeds city centre, ten minutes from Leeds railway station, and easy to reach by car, with plenty of nearby parking available.
Located on the ground floor, with full accessibility, where better to enjoy a pint of Tetley’s than where it was born nearly 200 years ago? Their all-day food menu features a selection of homemade pub classics, including their signature steak, Tetley Best Bitter pie, and Three Swords beer-battered fish & chips. Fancy something lighter or to share? You can’t go wrong with loaded fries, hummus and warm bread or beer-battered onion rings! You’ll also find vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options too. Meet at the bar around 7.30pm, as with all our events, you’ll always find people around earlier for drinks and chats! Singing starts around 8.00pm and finishes around 9.30pm.
Parking
Parking is plentiful, nearby car parks are Meadow Lane & Hunslet Lane. There is also plenty of FREE on-street parking (free after 6pm) on Sheaf St, Hunslet Rd and Cudbear St. Same for Bowman Lane which becomes Waterloo St.
There are always other friendly people to walk with if you’re new to the area or it’s your first time. Just message us beforehand or give us a heads-up on the night and we can point you in the right direction.
