We are thrilled to announce that we have received planning approval from Leeds City Council to develop one of Europe’s largest electric vehicle (EV) charging car parks at Aire Park. This exciting new addition will be located to the north of Great Wilson Street and will serve the occupants of Aire Park’s commercial district, offering 433 spaces, all equipped with EV charging capabilities.
In line with our commitment to promoting healthy and sustainable lifestyles, the car park will also feature a secure cycle hub on the ground floor with 516 spaces, a bike wash, and service stations.
The new car park will be built on land that was originally used as warehousing for the Tetley brewery. The design will blend seamlessly with the existing development across Aire Park, ensuring a cohesive and attractive environment.
Convenience is key, and the car park will connect easily with Aire Park’s office facilities. It will also provide a new link street from Great Wilson Street to South Brook Street, right into the heart of the development. This link street will offer additional opportunities for planting and landscaping, building on the 700 new trees we are bringing to Aire Park as part of our eight-acre park, set to be the largest new public park in the UK.
