The Hunslet Stray will close on 3rd April 2023 for approximately two months to allow the demolition of Huntsman House to resume.

The building will be demolished in stages, starting at the northern end of the building, closest to the Tetley, with works finishing at the southern end of the building, next to Crown Point Road.

To protect pedestrians and passing traffic, we will be implementing traffic diversions and pedestrians will be kept back via exclusion zones.

Whilst the closure of the Hunslet Stray is in place, access to surrounding businesses from Leeds City Centre will be as follows:

The Tetley (open as usual) – the Northern end of Hunslet Road only.

Duke Studios – Crown Point Road via Great Wilson Street

Leeds College of Building – Crown Point Road via Great Wilson Street
