At Aire Park, we’re committed to sustainability, from increasing biodiversity through our landscape architecture to delivering buildings which set the benchmark for sustainable design and delivery.
This approach has once again been recognised, this time with Kellstone, the newest commercial building within Aire Park. The building has been rated by BREEAM, the world’s leading sustainability and certification method for the property industry, as excellent.
This certification marks a significant achievement and places Kellstone within the top 10% of UK new non-domestic buildings. The certification requires the building to score an average of over 70% across the ten key assessment areas which include management, pollution, land use and ecology, water, energy and transport.
BREEAM certification isn’t the sole focus of sustainability for Vastint UK with Kellstone. The building also features renewable electricity, air source heat pumps and is targeting an EPC-A rating.
